Corrections Policy
Our commitment to accuracy — and how to request a correction.
Prairie Acre is committed to accuracy. When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and transparently.
How We Handle Corrections
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and the story is updated to reflect the correction.
- Significant corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article, with the date of the change.
- Data and figures are labelled with their source and reference period so readers can verify them.
Request a Correction
If you believe we've published an error, please tell us. Email info@prairieacre.ca or use our contact form with the article title, the specific issue, and a source we can check. We review every request.
Our Standards
We aim for plain-language, non-partisan reporting drawn from credible public sources. We do not fabricate quotes or attribute invented statistics to named organizations. Read more about our approach in Our Methodology.
